Naturopathic training believes in finding the cause of illness, performing proper and complete diagnosis. Proper diagnosis allows for proper treatment: pharmaceutical, herbal, physical medicine, oriental medicine, lifestyle, or diet modification. Treatment is effective when it treats the cause of illness, not the symptoms.

Acupuncture

The acupuncture and oriental medical care at 5 Elements Naturopathic Health Center, LLC is provided by graduates of accredited schools of Oriental Medicine. They are board certified specialists who have extensive post-graduate education in the care they provide. Oriental medicine and acupuncture are useful as a general health care modality and are mostly used for conditions for which there are no conventional treatments.

Massage

The Massage Therapist at 5 Elements Naturopathic Health Center, LLC is a licensed graduate of an accredited school of massage therapy. Her specialties are deep tissue massage and sports massage. She has had extensive experience in hospital based and outpatient orthopedic care. Massage is clinically proven to aid in recovery from injury and reduce chronic pain. Regular massage is also very useful for the prevention of injury from overuse or sudden strain.
